This weekend we went to Louisville with Brad and Jac. My very giving and patient parents kept the boys for us. We were on a mission to follow the Bourbon trails and check out as many Bourbon sites as we could. The boys were in their own little version of Heaven. A heaven lined with barrels and chocolate and bourbon flavored candies.
They don't look happy do they?
Suiting up!
Dipping a bottle of Makers.
Makers Tasting
Bourbon Barrels
Home of Blanton's Bourbon. Or as Travis calls it, "Graceland."
While we were there we had so much fun. We enjoyed a great night on 4th Street at the Improv and several bars. I found a new grape drink that is delish, thanks to Jac and we also enjoyed a super fabulous dinner at Eddie Merlots. It was an amazing weekend. Thanks Brad and Jac.
Of course while we were there we couldn't home empty handed, so we brought the boys home bows and arrows from the Frazier museum. They were an instant hit. Daddy's love of archery and his boys were a perfect mix. Here are some pictures of their recent archery training. :)
I love my life, my family and my friends.
I'll say it again! We are blessed.
