Life is passing us by so fast and I have so much to catch up on. I can't believe it's been this long. So I'm going to do a month by month until now! So here it goes:
{February}
In February our sweet little man turned 6. It really made me sad because that also meant he was becoming a big boy. Pretty soon he'll be too cool to kiss his mommy and need me to hold his hand. These 6 years have gone by so fast. It seems like only yesterday we brought that tiny peanut home in premie clothes. And now he's a smart, helpful, athletic little boy with a big heart.
To celebrate he chose to forgo the big party and we took a trip to The Great Wolf Lodge.
Not long after that Travis and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day with the romantic dinner. But some little boy decided he could do without a finger and there went our reservations, as we were detouring to Children's Hospital. The finger was reattached, yes...reattached and now looks almost perfect again.
February also brought us a few nicer days. I really dislike the winter and when I saw sun and a 50 degree day we ran out the door to the zoo. My sweet boys love animals and the Cincinnati Zoo is one of their favorite places.
February also brought of lots of snow. So we finally made a snowman. This momma had to use every muscle in my body to get that bad boy together. But we rolled and I lifted and he turned out pretty cute.
{March}
Moving onto March and Easter egg hunts and more fun outdoors. Praise the Lord for many reasons, but bring warmth is one of things I was really grateful for. In addition to my sweet boys.
March also brought us a little leprechaun. That stinker gave mommy a mess to clean up.
{April}
At the very beginning of April we began baseball. And let me tell you, we have a slugger. We also have an incredible daddy that has helped coach and practiced, practiced, practiced with Drew. It's truly paid off in many ways. Drew has become one heck of a little ball player, he loves to watch the Reds and he and his daddy have grown even closer.
And this little rascal keeps mommy on his toes. Don't let this picture deceive you. I'm very busy chasing him at EVERY game.
Daddy the coach.

{May}
So in May I only had 3 weeks of school. It was quite fabulous. Drew had a week or so more than me. So I decided to be a very bad mommy and pull him out of school a half day to go to Kings Island. He thought I was quite cool. The boys had a blast.
A few days later was Drew's field day. It was fun to be able to be there and watch Drew with his friends. As a teacher mommy, I love my summers, but interaction during the school year is few and far between. So I was very thankful to be able to attend.

{June}
In June Drew graduated from Kindergarten. Isn't he so handsome?

And a few short days after this...we left for Disney.
Now that's another post.
